Hello everyone!  So this is my new blog to post things that are going on in our family.  I actually have no idea what I'm doing, but hopefully I'll learn.  Probably no one will ever read it anyway.  

Here is the latest news on what everyone is doing:

I just finished my second PITC Module.  I received my certification on Module I a couple of weeks ago.  PITC stands for Program for Infant Toddler Care.  Each module is 4 lessons.  Next June I will go to Berkeley for 6 days again for Modules III and IV and get to write two more 20 page papers.  I can't wait to spend the majority of my summer writing again.  Dad and I had fun Thursday night with the families from our Marriage and Family class.  We played the traditional Roskelley games of sniff the broomstick, that other magic trick of guess which magazine someone pointed to(does it have a name) and the Magic Bean trick.  Then we enjoyed homemade ice cream.  

Dad is refereeing every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in the afternoon at local middle schools.  

Blake and Courtney are happily settled in Sacramento where Blake is working for CYS and he is close enough that he can walk to work each day.  I love having Blake and Courtney close to us!!

Katie is now certified (pending paperwork clearance) to teach in California, yeah!!  She has applied at local school districts to substitute teach and is hoping to get lots of calls to work.  She is loving serving in the Relief Society presidency in her ward and keeps busy planning activities and making beautiful invitations.  

Emily is busy with her last year of college.  It's a very hard year for her but she is doing fantastic.  Bryce has started his PhD school at U of U and is doing great.  I'm glad that they are close to some of Bryce's family and get to do things with them. 




 

Rachel is very busy with school this year and is working very hard.  She loves singing with the Sacramento Children's Chorus and is learning a lot.  Her first concert is Dec. 4 somewhere in Sacramento.  Mark your calendars now so you won't miss out. She misses basketball, but is having fun being a junior in high school

I can't wait to see what my next post will be.  Please add your comments kids and let everyone know how you're doing or whatever else you want.  Maybe you could even add some pictures.
